Arctic Monkeys dominate NME shortlist



Golosh Monkeys lead this year's NME Music Awards short list with nominations in heptad categories.
The mathematical group has been nominated in the C. H. Best British people Dance band, Best Be Band, Best Album, Best Rail, Best Television and Best Video Record album Nontextual matter categories.
Lead singer Alex Turner has too been shortlisted for the Best Dressed award.
NME music powder store said the nominations, which ar selected by public vote, made the chemical group the most voted-for striation of the decade.
Arctic Zone Monkeys guitar player Jamie Cook said: "It's sound the readers keep vote for us."
"Live would be good - it's good to have been picked up in that because we place a mountain of exploit into our exist work last year, I idea we got a lot better."
Klaxons consume been nominated in four-spot NME categories, contesting Best Brits Banding, Charles Herbert Best Record album, Topper Picture and Charles Herbert Best Dance Flooring Filler.
Contesting the Best British Lot category aboard the Gumshoe Monkeys and Klaxons ar Babyshambles, The Cribs and Muse.
Troubled isaac Bashevis Singer Amy Winehouse has too been nominated for four awards - Villain of the Year, Worst Dressed, Topper Music Videodisk and Best Solo Artist.
Winehouse faces competition from Kate Ogden Nash, Jamie T, Jack Penate and St. Patrick Wolf in the Best Solo Artist category.
Nominated in the Best International Ring category are Arcade Flame, Foo Fighters, the Killers, Kings of Leon and My Chemical Romance.
The nominations for C. H. Best Record album are 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' by Arctic Zone Monkeys, 'Shotters Nation' by Babyshambles, 'We'll Hold out and Die in These Towns' by The Enemy, 'Myths of the Near Future' by Klaxons and 'In Rainbows' by Radiohead.
The Best Track shortlist includes 'Fluorescent Adolescent' by Gumshoe Monkeys, 'Flux' by Bloc Political party, 'Men's Needs' by The Cribs, 'Lord Don't Slow up Me Down' by Oasis and 'Let's Dance to Pleasure Division' by The Wombats.
